1.H2o in water cooler is restrained frigidity in the exact way as almost all refrigerators and air conditioners–through the use of a heat pump. A fluid called refrigerant is moved by a heat pump, through a closed coil of pipe to move heat outside of the H2O, thus chilling it. Heat pumps usually are powered by a centrifugal pump named the compressor, which is a quick turbine that sucks refrigerant in and propels it into the condenser.
The Condenser Stage
2.The condenser is noticed behind the cooler and is a length of metal tube.. The fluid inside it is pressurise by the compressor. fluid heats up when it’s compressed. as the liquid runs through the compressors metal tube most of the heat is released,, cooling the refrigerant. The refrigerant is only just hotter than air temp when it has touched the expansion gate at the end.
The Evaporator Stage
3.Liquid slowly passes into the evaporator via a small valve called the expansion gate. Unlike the condenser, the evaporator is kept at a low pressure. The refrigerant expands as it goes through, which makes it cool down. The evaporator runs past the H2O within the cooler. Heat from the water strips out into the cold condenser, chilling the water. Once the evaporator has been warming up by the water, it is pumped through the compressor again to start the cycle over.
